4 Stephen King Story Plots That Will Make You Question Everything

Stephen King is the King of Horror. His imaginative story concepts make his readers feel a variety of emotions while reading his books. Whether these feelings are fear, perplexion, or even uneasiness, he has a way to tell a story that will chill you to the bone. He lets his imagination go so wild that he’s created a genre of his own. Let’s delve into the depths of some of his strangest story plots:

1. We all float down here!

In 1986, a horror novel was born. It’s so intense and strange that even the title makes you feel uneasy. IT takes you on a journey to a small town where children are stalked and killed by a supernatural force that takes the shape of their worst nightmare, one of them being a terrifying clown. If that’s not enough to make you sleep with one eye open, who knows what will!

2. Nothing too nasty could happen in such a nice little town. Not there.

Salem’s Lot was King’s second book, published in 1975. Writer, Ben Mears, returns to his hometown of Jerusalem's Lot (Salem’s Lot for short) to write a book about a terrifying abandoned house that haunted him as a child. Going back to your hometown to write about a house that gave you the creeps as a child seems ok, right? Well, he finds out that the town is infested with vampires too. Now we’re talking!

3. I can see your dirty pillows. Everyone Will.

Highschool isn’t always a great experience for everybody, especially for Carrie White in Stephen King’s 1974 first published classic, Carrie. With a super-religious abusive mother, no friends, and nobody to turn to for the bullying she experiences at school. Life isn’t so easy until she discovers she has telekinetic powers. Watch out, bullies. There’s a new force in town.

4. The monster never dies.

The lovable St. Bernard was the definition of man’s best friend until a rabid bat bites the friendly pup, and all hell breaks loose. Donna, the dog’s owner, goes to get her car repaired, only to get trapped inside the car with her son by the blood-hungry dog waiting for them outside. Cujo is a cult classic!

Talk about strange plots! Stephen King has a way to make you feel uncomfortable but in the best way possible. All you want to do is continue reading the unpredictably chilling stories told by the King of Horror himself. Go to our website www.hubbfi.com for these titles and more...if you dare!
